Voyager 2 Speculation Brings Readers To Wonder About “Battlefield Earth”

As speculation that the Voyager 2 has been hacked by aliens, readers have wondered if the storyline in L. Ron Hubbard's science fiction novel Battlefield Earth may become a reality.

Intelligent aliens may be rapacious marauders, roaming the cosmos in search of resources to plunder and planets to conquer and colonize.” In Battlefield Earth, the reply we received from Voyager 1 was not a friendly reach out from another race, but rather a wipe out of mankind for the new race to come in and mine the resources of the planet―namely gold.

As speculation that the Voyager 2 has been hacked by aliens, readers have wondered if the storyline in L. Ron Hubbard’s science fiction novel “Battlefield Earth” may become a reality. The novel was re-released in 2016 with cover art by Frank Frazetta depicting his vision of the fight between the humans and the cruel alien overlord.
