SOAR is strengthening its commitment to environmental responsibility through a new sustainability partnership with Evertreen, supporting reforestation initiatives in connection with its team’s upcoming journey to the STEM Racing World Finals in Singapore.
United Kingdom, September 21, 2026 -- The collaboration brings together SOAR’s participation in one of the world’s leading student-focused STEM and engineering competitions with a practical commitment to supporting nature-based environmental initiatives. As the team prepares to travel to Singapore for the World Finals, SOAR is working with Evertreen to support tree planting projects that reflect its intention to address the environmental impact associated with its international journey.
In return, SOAR will help raise awareness of Evertreen and its environmental initiatives through social media, sponsor materials, World Finals content, and dedicated communications featuring Evertreen’s branded forest.
Taking Sustainability on the Road to Singapore
Travel is an important part of participating in international competitions, particularly for teams representing their communities on a global stage. For SOAR, the journey to Singapore presents not only an opportunity to compete, but also a chance to consider the broader environmental impact associated with reaching the World Finals.
Through its partnership with Evertreen, SOAR is supporting reforestation and ecosystem restoration initiatives as part of its sustainability efforts around the event.
Rather than treating sustainability as a separate activity, the partnership connects environmental responsibility directly with a significant milestone for the team. The initiative provides SOAR with a tangible way to support nature-based climate action while bringing its sustainability message to a wider international audience.
Supporting Reforestation Through Evertreen
Evertreen provides SOAR with access to a portfolio of environmental projects focused on reforestation, ecosystem restoration, and nature-based climate initiatives around the world.
Through the platform, trees can be sponsored as part of broader restoration initiatives supported by local communities and environmental projects. Evertreen also provides digital monitoring and impact-reporting tools, allowing participating organizations to follow their environmental contributions and communicate their progress more transparently.
For SOAR, this creates an opportunity to connect its World Finals experience with a longer-term environmental initiative, extending the impact of the partnership beyond the event itself.
Environmental impact figures associated with supported projects are estimates calculated using scientific methodologies and are intended to reflect long-term outcomes. Actual results may vary due to ecological, climatic, and other factors.
Bringing Sustainability to the World Finals
The STEM Racing World Finals in Singapore will provide an international platform for SOAR to showcase its team, its technical capabilities, and its commitment to STEM education and innovation.
The partnership with Evertreen will become part of that story through dedicated content and visibility throughout the World Finals experience.
SOAR plans to feature Evertreen across its social media channels and sponsor materials, while World Finals content will provide additional opportunities to communicate the collaboration to audiences following the team’s journey.
Dedicated content highlighting Evertreen’s branded forest will also help give the partnership a tangible environmental dimension, showing audiences where their sustainability efforts are being directed and connecting the excitement of an international STEM competition with real-world environmental action.
A Partnership Built Around Shared Visibility and Impact
The collaboration reflects a shared interest in making sustainability more visible and accessible.
For SOAR, partnering with Evertreen provides an opportunity to demonstrate that environmental responsibility can be integrated into major team activities and international events. For Evertreen, the partnership creates an opportunity to reach a STEM-focused audience through authentic event storytelling and content generated around the World Finals.
The combination of sponsorship visibility, social media communication, event content, and dedicated storytelling around the Evertreen forest gives the partnership a presence both during and beyond the competition.
Inspiring the Next Generation Through STEM and Sustainability
STEM competitions provide young people with opportunities to develop practical skills in engineering, science, technology, teamwork, and problem-solving. Connecting these experiences with environmental responsibility can also encourage participants and audiences to consider how innovation can contribute to a more sustainable future.
SOAR’s collaboration with Evertreen adds this perspective to its World Finals journey, demonstrating how a team can combine technological ambition with support for nature-based initiatives.
As SOAR prepares to represent its team on the international stage in Singapore, the partnership provides another way to make the journey meaningful — not only through competition, but also through a commitment to supporting environmental restoration.
