New 2026 data shows visitors prioritize arena action over traditional dinner theater.
Pigeon Forge, United States, September 25, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Supper Show continues to lead the regional tourism market, securing its position as a premier destination according to visitor sentiment and attraction rankings. As travelers increasingly evaluate whether the experience at Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud is worth it, new data suggests a shift in consumer behavior where the quality of the arena performance now outweighs the importance of the meal itself compared to traditional Pigeon Forge dinner shows.
Shifting Priorities in Family Entertainment
For years, the standard for dinner theater in the Smoky Mountains was defined by all-you-can-eat menus. However, recent trends indicate that modern families are prioritizing high-energy, experiential entertainment. At Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Supper Show, guests get the best of both worlds. While the show includes a hearty BBQ supper, the primary draw for guests is the professional lumberjack competition featuring competitive events such as log rolling, speed climbing, and axe throwing.
“The value of the Lumberjack Feud has always been rooted in the authenticity of the sport and the excitement of the arena, and we are pleased to see that guests are recognizing the show as a top-tier athletic event,” said Marcus Watson, VP of Marketing at Top Concepts.
Unlike the scripted performances found at other dinner shows in Pigeon Forge, Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Supper Show focuses on real athletes competing in a high-stakes environment. This focus on genuine skill and audience engagement has allowed the attraction to maintain high rankings even as competition for tourism dollars intensifies.
The Value of the Arena Experience
The show operates in a unique climate-controlled, open-air grandstand that provides a closer view of the action than many other indoor venues. This proximity allows for a level of audience participation that has become a hallmark of Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud Supper Show. Industry analysts note that this level of engagement provides a significant return on investment for families looking for more than just a passive dining experience.
Located at 2530 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863, the show remains a central fixture of the city's entertainment district. By emphasizing the sport of timber competition, Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Supper Show has successfully differentiated itself from the crowded field of local attractions, proving that for most visitors, the thrill of the feud is the ultimate selling point.
