Open Sky Drone Light Shows Is Providing A Safe and Sustainable Alternative to Fireworks

Jul 3, 2023

Open Sky Drone Light Shows, a provider of creative drone displays, is working with the Salt Lake City Department of Public Lands to replace fireworks with an alternative that comes without many of the risks associated with those displays.

Park City, Utah, United States - July 3, 2023 —

Salt Lake City is leading the way in reimagining celebrations with spectacular drone light shows as a safe and sustainable alternative to fireworks. This innovative step allows the city to prioritize public safety, protect its environment, and create a truly memorable experience for its community.

As traditional fireworks can be hazardous due to fire danger and air pollution, switching to drones offers a much safer solution. Drones are also much quieter than fireworks, allowing them to be used in more urban areas without disturbing nearby residents. Additionally, they can be programmed with complex flight paths that create dynamic visuals that are simply not possible with fireworks.

“The introduction of drone shows in Salt Lake City has been met with great enthusiasm from both residents and event organizers alike. Event Manager Lynze Twede expressed her excitement for this new form of celebration: “The switch to drone shows not only mitigates fire danger and improves air quality but also showcases the boundless possibilities of technology and the collective excitement of our residents. Join us as we embrace the future, celebrate responsibly, and witness the magic unfold in the night sky.”

“Salt Lake City is proud to lead the way in reimagining celebrations by introducing spectacular drone shows as a safe and sustainable alternative to fireworks. Open Sky Productions is helping us take this innovative step that allows us to prioritize public safety, protect our environment, and create a truly memorable experience for our community.”

Drones have revolutionized many aspects of modern life including photography, transportation, and now entertainment as well! By utilizing these flying machines for light shows, cities like Salt Lake City can provide an unforgettable experience while keeping citizens safe from potential dangers associated with fireworks.
