The expansion covers 24/7 monitoring and response, manned guarding and risk management for cargo operators in Namibia's coastal logistics network.

Walvis Bay, Namibia, September 22, 2026 -- Omega Security Services Namibia is expanding its maritime and port security operations along the Walvis Bay corridor, extending 24/7 monitoring and response, manned guarding and risk management support for operators moving cargo through Namibia's coastal logistics network. The expansion builds on services the company already provides to shipping, logistics and industrial clients operating along Namibia's principal trade route to the coast.

The company operates from offices in Windhoek and Walvis Bay, with its Walvis Bay office located at 133 Sam Nujoma Avenue. Omega has held partnerships of ten years or longer with major clients operating in the corridor. Its Namibia Security Services cover port facilities and dry ports, with access control, cargo security and perimeter protection.

Omega Security Services Namibia operates within the wider Omega Risk Solutions group, which has delivered corporate risk management and security services across Africa since 2003. The group is currently focused on southern Africa along with West and Central Africa and protects approximately 800 companies across the continent. Information on the group's regional operations is available at Omega Risk Solutions.

The company's risk management services use surveys and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend protective measures. Its logistics and distribution services extend to warehouse security, inventory protection and escorts for high-value shipments. Alarm monitoring is paired with response teams to respond when security systems are triggered.

Alongside its maritime work, Omega Security Services Namibia provides mining security and diplomatic and embassy security. The company received the PMR.africa 2025 Namibia award in the category Institutions Doing Most to Fight Crime.
