Emotions themselves are not the problem. Mother Nature gave us emotions to enhance our ability to survive and reproduce. For example, if you notice that you are standing too close to a dangerous snake, fear should prompt you to jump away instantly without having to think about what to do.

The problem comes when we get stuck suffering from prolonged unwanted emotions such as fear, shame, guilt, loneliness, grief, and anger. We continue to experience them way past the point of usefulness. We may drag them with us from one moment to the next. Their psychological weight makes life heavy and less enjoyable. They may sometimes lie dormant for months or years — only to erupt unexpectedly with negative consequences to ourselves and others.

There are multiple ways to diminish prolonged emotional distress. According to Dr. Bradford, this method, which is called “The Wave”, is the best because it’s not only effective but it’s also easy, simple, and enjoyable. It’s about preventing them from arising initially and, so, does not involve re-experiencing them.

He explains how he discovered the technique, how to do it, and even how to intensify it to make it even more enjoyable and effective.

“If more people understood how easy it is to reduce emotional suffering,” he says, “the world would be a much better place.”

Since understanding the nature of emotions makes emotional healing and flourishing easier, this informative webinar also includes a brief discussion of the nature of emotions.

The method he advocates is also automatically an effective, easy, simple, and enjoyable way to reduce stress. Dr. Bradford explains how it’s possible to eliminate all psychological stress.

Parents may consider teaching “The Wave” technique to their children as well as doing it themselves.

The webinar comes with a free bonus that is about how to dissolve prolonged emotional distress that you may already be experiencing.
