New Autobiography, "Second Act: Living Boldly and Abundantly at Every Age," Launches Today With Goal to Empower Women to Embrace And Live A Purposefully Life No Matter The Age

PHILADELPHIA - April 18, 2023 - PRLog -- Today, Love and Relationshi Expert, Dating Coach, and Author, Cheri Syphax, launches her debut autobiography, "Second Act: Living Boldly and Abundantly at Every Age." The book is a moving account of one woman's transformational journey of breaking past limiting beliefs to live boldly. Through her personal anecdotes, Mrs. Syphax redefines life's second half, proving to Black women everywhere that love and success have no limits. Mrs. Syphax will be appearing today at the Bayou Lounge (5025 Baltimore Avenue * Philadelphia, PA 19143) at 7:30 p.m. for a book signing event.

"Second Act is a love letter to women everywhere that they can hit the refresh button and redesign their life at any point," states Cheri Syphax. "In the book, I share how I overcame the limits I placed on myself, which ultimately helped me to move past abusive and unhealthy relationships, beat breast cancer, start a new career in my mid-40s, and find love."

According to research by the National Institutes of Health titled, "The Growing Racial and Ethnic Divide in U.S. Marriage Patterns," and authored by Professors R. Kelly Raley, Megan M. Sweeney, and Danielle Wondra, "Black women marry later in life, are less likely to marry at all, and have higher rates of marital instability." In the book, "Second Act: Living Boldly and Abundantly at Every Age," Mrs. Syphax works to dispel these statistics and empower Black women to find their true soul mate with the goal to have a long-lasting relationship. Her narrative removes the disparaging notion that you need to have it all figured out by a certain age and serves as a reminder that everyone is on their own journey. The book is also a testament that it is never too late to revitalize your love life, social circle, or career. By following her heart's desire and opening herself up to new possibilities, Mrs. Syphax was primed for true love to walk into her life. Rejecting the notion that the best years for romance and professional success are behind her, Mrs. Syphax illuminates in the book the notion that no matter how many times it takes to design your best life, the greatest part is the journey and lessons gained along the way.

"It's an honest telling of my life, the challenges, triumphs, lessons learned, words of encouragement to others, things I wish I had known and all of the things I did to get to my beautiful, complete life with my husband, Tracey, my "Second Act," states Mrs. Syphax.

Mrs. Syphax has been featured in The New York Times, Oprah Daily, Essence, Forbes, Philadelphia Magazine, and on ABC's 20/20 and BET Digital. She is a wife, mother, marketing executive by day as well as a dating coach and host of the "Leader and Lover" podcast by night. Mrs. Syphax is also a breast cancer survivor. Moreover, Mrs. Syphax is passionate about showcasing the magic of Black women, Black love, and seeks to demystify the stereotype that Black women cannot have it all. An advocate for doing the inner self discovery work and being open to the power of healing, Mrs. Syphax is living proof that Black women can have it all and do it with style, class, and grace. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, Tracey Syphax, a successful business entrepreneur.

"Second Act: Living Boldly and Abundantly at Every Age" (ISBN: 9798987135600) is available at Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and bookstores nationwide. For media inquiries, please contact Tyrha Lindsey-Warren at [email protected].

Robotaxis are taking over China’s cities. What are they actually like to ride?

The driver’s seat was empty and the steering wheel was turning on its own. Sitting in the back of a Pony.ai robotaxi in Shenzhen, I felt a flicker of nervousness. But as the car glided into traffic, the initial unease gave way to an appreciation of something far less futuristic: the blissful absence of small talk with the driver. My test rides in two of China’s major tech hubs – with Pony.ai in Shenzhen and Baidu’s Apollo Go in Beijing – offered a first-hand experience of how autonomous vehicles...
