Hopkinton, MA, USA - October 10, 2019 —

InnerIcons is pleased to inform that many families are using its recently launched kids card games to learn mindfulness together. Though designed primarily for children, this product is appropriate for all users, so people of all ages can benefit from mindfulness education. The mindfulness therapy game is selling on Amazon for $17.97.

While mindfulness programs for students have been integrated into many schools, many experts feel it’s most effective to teach these practices to parents and teachers first. Studies suggest that even brief mindfulness training for parents may improve parent-child relationships. Through mindfulness, they can learn how to do short reflections, how to listen more deeply and how to find compassion for themselves and their children.

“Mindfulness is a natural capacity we all have for being aware of what’s happening in the present moment. That sounds simple, but many parents find that life is such a rush, we’re never fully here, “said InnerIcons spokesperson Joseph O’Connell. “We get stressed and anxious, easily provoked by our children into unhelpful reactions, instead of responding in a more considered way. However, the good news is that we can train ourselves to slow down and to pause more frequently. We can all benefit immensely by setting aside a few minutes each day for mindfulness practice.”

The card games for kids 8-12 from InnerIcons were designed by experienced educators and child psychologists and are used frequently by counselors and therapists to teach mindfulness. The game is ideally suited to be played in group settings and is extremely useful for counseling sessions, classroom lessons, and mindful parenting.

The game fosters healthy self and social behavior by teaching the techniques of meditation and breathing to cope with circumstances. InnerIcons informs that these family card games for kids and adults are also used for counseling children in foster care and group homes and can promote mindful recovery from traumatic experiences and abuse.
