iKippahs launches a Custom Space Kippah collection with astronaut and galaxy designs for STEM celebrations and space enthusiasts, available now in New York.
New York, United States, September 14, 2026 -- NEW YORK, NY — iKippahs, a Brooklyn-founded maker of fashion-forward yarmulkes, has launched a Custom Space Kippah collection featuring astronaut and galaxy-inspired designs. The new line launched this month and targets families planning STEM-themed celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs, and space enthusiasts seeking personalized headwear. The collection expands the company's existing pattern-based offerings with a dedicated space theme available for individual and bulk orders.
Interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics-themed celebrations has grown steadily among families planning milestone events, with educators and event planners increasingly incorporating STEM motifs into party themes, according to National Retail Federation data on customized celebration trends. Space-related design continues to resonate broadly, driven in part by ongoing public attention to national and commercial space programs. Custom apparel and accessories tied to these themes have become a recognizable category within personalized gift and event products.
The Custom Space Kippah collection includes designs depicting astronauts, rocket launches, planets, and star fields rendered across the company's standard kippah construction options. Customers can select from six-panel and rimless styles, with the space patterns applied to fabric choices already used across the brand's broader catalog. The designs are offered both as ready-made options and as customizable templates for bulk orders tied to events such as bar and bat mitzvahs, school programs, and synagogue functions.
Bulk and custom ordering allows organizations and families to specify quantities, color combinations, and embroidery details tied to the space theme, a process the company has previously offered for other pattern collections including transportation and holiday designs. Turnaround times and order minimums for the space-themed pieces follow the same bulk-order structure used for the company's other custom collections. The collection is available for order directly through the company's online store.
“The space collection reflects requests we have received from families planning STEM-themed celebrations who wanted an option that matched that interest,” said the Co-Founder of iKippahs. “Bringing a galaxy and astronaut theme into our kippah designs gives customers another way to tie a personal or educational interest into a religious tradition.”
