Philadelphia, United States, September 25, 2026 -- Dr. Carolyn Wilson, MBA (h.c) award‑winning transformational speaker, author, filmmaker, and founder of The MYE Institute, recently appeared as a featured author and panelist at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 55th Annual Legislative Conference (CBC ALC 55), held in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Wilson appeared as a highlighted author in the ALC Expo, where she showcased her acclaimed H.E.R.Story™ Anthology Series—a collection of powerful narratives written by women who have journeyed through healing, emergence, and resilience.
Dr. Carolyn Wilson serves as a Men's Mental Health panelist at the CBC ALC 55
She also served as a panelist for the session “A Crisis: Black Men’s Mental Health,” offering trauma‑informed insight grounded in her book H.I.M.Story: Honorable. Intelligent. Matured. The book centers the emotional experiences and healing journeys men, especially of Black men, providing a foundation for Dr. Wilson’s perspective on identity restoration, and culturally responsive mental‑health support.
As a trained Master Resilience Trainer (MRT), contributing author to The Mastery Code: Mental Health Matters, and visionary behind H.I.M.Story this panel allows her to create a safe space that allows us to discuss rewriting narratives, dismantling stigma, revealing truth, healing, and transformation.
“Black men’s mental health is not just a conversation—it’s a crisis that demands visibility, compassion, and action,” said Dr. Wilson. “Through H.I.M.Story, we honor the voices of men who are often asked to be strong without being supported by being seen, heard and respected.”
Dr. Wilson’s presence at ALC 55 reflects her growing influence as a thought leader in resilience, emotional intelligence, and narrative healing for women and men as it pertains to mental health.
“CBC ALC is where critical conversations become catalysts for change,” said Dr. Wilson. “Sharing H.E.R.Story™ and H.I.M.Story™ in this space reinforces the power of narrative healing and the urgency of mental‑health advocacy.”
