Creative Problem Solving For Social Entrepreneurs | Mindset Change Course Update

Sep 22, 2022

Macadamia Solutions LLC, the online educational resource of Steven Wright, MBA, Ph.D., JD, has launched a new version of their popular creative problem-solving course specifically for social entrepreneurs.

Woodstock,United States - September 22, 2022 /NewsNetwork/ —

Where many people see problems as just that, Steven Wright views them as opportunities for innovative thinking, perspective changes, and future growth. That’s why he is now offering his patented online course to social entrepreneurs. In ‘Problem Perspectives: Solve Your Best Problem!’, participants will learn that a problem is simply the difference between a person’s objective or goal and their current reality.

The launch of his updated program for social entrepreneurs coincides with a recent article published in Science Direct. The research, which compiled an extensive array of studies, suggested that divergent thinking skills, problem-solving ability, and creative performance are not at a fixed point, but rather can all be enhanced through focused creative problem-solving training.

Steven Wright is similarly confident that the problem with problems is simply the way that people frame them. As such, in his course, he teaches participants how to develop and refine their problem statement. This exercise in perspective encourages people to reframe and reconsider their initial problem until they arrive at the problem that really matters, or, what Wright calls, the better problem to solve.

Macadamia Solutions understands that social entrepreneurs are actively and constantly involved in the process of solving problems. However, they also believe that finding the problem to solve that will lead to meaningful change and progress is not always self-evident.

As such, the course focuses on how to develop out-of-the-box thinking skills and divergent ways of thinking that will allow attendees to both recognize these ‘right’ problems to solve and develop creative solutions to address them.

The course includes on-demand video and downloadable resources so that it can be completed at any time and at the participant’s chosen pace. All those who attend will also receive an official training certificate.

Macadamia Solutions LLC is the digital home of Steven Wright, MBA, Ph.D., JD. The professor, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and mentor has worked extensively in problem-solving training for some of the US’ largest companies, including Alcatel, Fujitsu, and AT&T.

A spokesperson for Steven Wright and Macadamia said, “Problems are the discrepancy between the current state and some desired future state (your objective). In this course, you will learn how to use the power of perspective to solve your best problem. By developing and refining the problem statement, you will find a better problem to solve.”

As conversations around generative AI continue to dominate headlines, new research from small group travel operator Explore Worldwide reveals that people are more than twice as likely to trust someone with first-hand experience when looking for recommendations in an unfamiliar destination than an AI tool. In a survey of 2,000 working adults in the UK, conducted by Opinion Matters on behalf of Explore Worldwide, recommendations from friends or family who had visited the destination were trusted by four in five respondents when considering experiences somewhere they had never been, compared with just 32% who would trust an AI tool.
