Apr 4, 2021

Christopher Lee, Buffalo, New York physical trainer, comments on how the coronavirus has impacted the United States fitness world and what the vaccination production and rate mean for this industry.

Buffalo, New York - April 4, 2021 /MarketersMedia/ —

Christopher Lee, Buffalo, New York certified fitness trainer, says that the coronavirus vaccine is the answer to a long-awaited solution of returning the world to normal. However, the factors of time and action are what will determine this ultimate pre-pandemic return.

As a fitness instructor, Lee specializes in working with clients to improve their overall health through adapting proactive routines, increasing metabolism, and building muscle, stamina, and strength. Lee focuses on helping others live a life doing what they love and engaging in any action pain-free. While continuing his career through the pandemic, Lee was forced to adapt to a more technology-friendly based platform for the sake of social distancing. The change from a traditional gym setting essentially altered the entire fitness industry to cater towards more home workouts.

Now, as more people are getting the COVID-19 vaccine, the world is predicted to return to its more normal days before the pandemic soon. Unfortunately, soon does not mean immediate, as people worldwide will still be dealing with protocols, restrictions, and effects as 2021 continues.

When the race for the vaccine began, the two leaders that produced an over 90 percent effective vaccine in phase 3 clinical trials were Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna. On January 8 of this year, certain countries approved the use of a vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Oxford-AstraZeneca.

At the beginning of January, Bloomberg recorded that across 35 different countries, more than 14 million people were vaccinated. Herd immunity becomes possible once 75 to 80 percent of the population has been vaccinated.

The coronavirus vaccine is bouncing back the fitness industry as the people who benefit the most from physical activities are at the front of the line to receive the vaccine. These people receiving some of the first vaccines include older adults, individuals with disabilities, those who battle with obesity, or people with chronic health conditions. Researchers predict that people will feel more comfortable submerging back into society and joining gyms again once they have received both doses of the vaccination. After getting their second dose, they will have to wait weeks for immunity before continuing forward with pre-pandemic activities.

“From the perspective of a fitness trainer that has had to make drastic changes to continue my career during these unknown times, I am looking forward to working with my clients again in a gym setting and in-person. I am thankful to be still able to guide my clients through their health and fitness routines through my online fitness platform and live virtual sessions. However, in my opinion, technology will never replace specific benefits that an in-person session holds,” said Christopher Lee, Buffalo, New York fitness expert.
