Brand Identity Design for Small Businesses for Stronger Visual Systems Announced

Sep 11, 2026

Hercules Designs has added brand identity design to its services for small businesses, building on its work in UX and product design.

San Diego, United States, September 11, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Hercules Designs is now offering brand identity design for small businesses and founders as part of an expansion of its design services. The latest offering adds strategic visual identity work to the studio's existing experience in building digital products, with an approach focused on keeping a business's brand coherent across its different touchpoints.

Hercules Juver, Owner and Creator of Hercules Designs, explained that the service responds to a pattern he sees among small businesses that have grown beyond their original visual identity. "Most small businesses reach a point where their logo works in one place but falls apart everywhere else," Juver said. "The brand starts to look inconsistent, and that inconsistency costs them credibility before they even get a chance to explain what they do."

Hercules Designs' approach to brand identity does not begin with selecting colors, fonts, or other visual elements. Instead, the process starts by determining what a business needs people to recognize, feel, and remember before a visual direction is established.

From there, the studio develops a visual language based on the actual needs of the business. Depending on the project, this can include a logo and responsive variations, color and typography systems, image and graphic direction, social and presentation assets, and guidance for using the brand consistently.

The studio's approach also avoids automatically providing every possible brand asset, as components are selected according to what the business will genuinely use, allowing small teams to have a practical identity system rather than a large collection of unused materials. "A brand identity is judged by how well it supports the business, not by how it looks in a presentation," Juver added.

Hercules Designs' published project work provides examples of how the studio applies this approach to different types of businesses. For Oral Unic, a dental franchise network, the challenge involved modernizing the clinic identity while keeping the system practical and consistent across more than 400 locations.

The resulting visual identity brought together clinic environments, packaging, digital materials, and communications under one recognizable direction.

China shoots ahead on AI video models

While few dispute that China is narrowing the gap with the United States in developing artificial intelligence (AI) models, there is one area where Chinese firms are already the undisputed leaders: video. China has seen a proliferation of advanced generative AI video models – systems trained on visual data to generate or edit video content based on user inputs such as text prompts, images and audio. The country’s vast short-video ecosystems and looser copyright rules have helped give Chinese...
