The new announcement comes in time for October, the Safe Sleep and SIDS Awareness month. According to international safer sleeping guidelines, the baby’s face and head should be kept clear during sleep to minimize the risk of suffocation and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). This can be achieved by removing blankets, pillows, toys, and other loose items from the cot and positioning the baby on their back.
The Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap allows parents to help their baby sleep comfortably on their back without moving around the cot. The wrap is an alternative to traditional swaddles and blankets, that allows the baby to move naturally without rolling onto their tummy, getting tangled in the bedding, or pulling themselves up in the cot.
